Magic Academy: Deck Building is the second event of the two-part Magic Academy series (following Magic Academy: Learn to Play) designed to help new players learn how to build their own decks and get acquainted with Limited format play. This structured, beginner-friendly experience simplifies teaching deck construction and fosters player progression.
The event uses six Play Boosters (or equivalent, such as leftover Prerelease Packs), rules reference materials, and an instructional video to do most of the heavy lifting so your staff can focus on individual customer needs. It’s a great opportunity for existing players to bring interested friends to your store to embark on their Magic journey.
Start the event by playing the deck building instructional video, which explains how to put together a 40-card Magic deck. Topics include:
